Without a doubt, Charles Chaplin’s CITY LIGHTS. There are lots of memorable phrases there. Like when Charlot asks the cop: “……… ..?” And the cop responds: “……! ………!” Or when he talks to himself while walking and says: “………,……………………” Then when he enters to ask at the florist: “………….?” and gets no response. Or when he strikes up a conversation with the blind young woman at the park entrance.
