If you pay close attention to the details of each and every famous movie of the last twenty years (at least), you’ll realize that there is a certain woman who invariably appears in all of them. A woman in her sixties, blonde, with a shoulder bag and shell glasses. Obviously she doesn’t have a leading role, she is always at the background, far from the main action. But she is always staring at the camera while gargling. She appears only in one sequence of each movie, but if you notice her, you feel uneasy. It’s like she was looking right into your eyes. Every time I see her, it gives me the heebie-jeebies. The last time was at “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” by Quentin Tarantino. The two protagonists walk past a group of people running backwards: the one that comes last is her. I can’t figure out how she manages to run backwards, look at the camera and gargle all at the same time. I don’t know what to think. It’s quite weird and very chilling.
